North Way & The Residency
North Way Christian Community is a church in Pittsburgh, PA, whose vision is to impact this region and the world with the hope of the gospel. One of the most important priorities for making this lasting impact is to raise up and develop the next generation of leaders. This is the motivation for North Way's residency program.
About the Program
The program develops new leaders by providing an immersive full-time apprenticeship experience in the local church context. Much of the resident's time is spent gaining hands-on experience in a specific ministry area. In addition, time is set aside for intentional spiritual development through many means: Bible study, guided discussions, mentoring relationships, and conferences.
The Goal
The primary goal of the program is to help new leaders discern their calling into vocational ministry and to equip them to step into that calling. So if you are looking to take your first step in a long ministry career, are considering a mid-career change, or are exploring a "gap year" to better understand God's leading, we are here for you.
